This is my interpretation for project 2b: Type Collage, page 69.
The top image is type as texture. I saw the manipulation of the text as layered, yielding a sense of depth.
The middle image is type as shape. The letter "B" and "M" suggests the shape of a heart in this design.
The lower image is type as line. The text takes the form of the shape of the mountain. It guides the viewers eye through the invitation.
I gathered each design from a few books and magazines at home. I scanned each one and used InDesign to make what I would call a collage. Enjoyable project.
